Full plan package orders

Foundation Plan* (Slab)
Floor plan(s)
Electrical plan -layered on floor plan
Four elevations -(front, rear, right and left sides)

Typical construction details (including firewall details when applicable in multi-family plans)
Roof plan/diagram (included with most plans)
Plumbing/riser diagrams
all floor plans are "quick-referenced" for ease-of-use and efficient construction. (All dimensions are shown "outside to center" and "center to center" depending on wall locations).

*Note: All home plan packages contain a monolithic slab foundation plan. Depending on your region and local building practices, you may wish to convert to another foundation type such as basement or crawl-space. Any professional builder can easily adapt a plan for the specific foundation type you require! (Due to significant variations in site conditions and code requirements from one location to another, basement foundations must be addressed by your builder or building professional).
Due to differences in climate from one region to another, it is customary for your contractor to provide HVAC plans.
If an engineers stamp is required by your building department, you will need to have the plans stamped at your local level through an engineer licensed in your city/town.

If you find a plan in our library that you would like to review in more detail or you need to go through a review board before construction, order a study set. Study sets consist of a dimensioned floor plan and elevation views of all sides. This is typically the only portions of the plan needed for the review process. Only one copy will be included in study set orders and will be stamped "Not for construction".

Note: The cost of the study set is applied to the total cost of the complete plan package if ordered as shown on our site. If a study set is ordered and changes are made to the design, the cost of the study set will not apply to the final cost of the plan. In these cases, the full price shown for that plan will be required at the time of purchase. Also, credit is only given on standard, full price orders. No credit is offered toward the purchase of pdf files. Full-priced plan package must be ordered within 30 days of study set purchase in order to receive credit for the study set costs. All plan packages ordered more than 30 days after the study set must be purchased at the full package price.
